Visha Janet Pesquera
Visha Janet Pesquera graduated from Law School in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico in 1984 and immediately began her career as a Law Clerk for Honorable Ramón Gomez, Superior Court Judge in Puerto Rico.
After one year, she decided to follow her passion to try cases and was hired as a trial attorney by the Attorney General’s Office for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico defending medical malpractice claims filed against government medical doctors. After two years of a successful practice, she was hired as a litigation attorney by the law firm of Quilichini, Oliver & Gorbea where she continued her representation in medical malpractice cases.
In 1989 she moved with her husband Ricardo R. Pesquera to Orlando, Florida and became a full time mother for two years. In 1991, she joined her husband and opened The Law Office of Ricardo R. Pesquera. Since then, she has assisted her husband in all cases handled by the law office and appears together with Mr. Pesquera in cases that are tried before a jury.
She is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Florida and all lower courts, Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and all lower courts, and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Visha Janet Pesquera is an outstanding attorney who has proven to be an invaluable asset for the office.
